Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to begin in 2018

Even in the trailer above, the presence of a supporting character has shown that Red Dead Redemption 2 is likely to be a prequel to the storyline that preceded the first.
The reason for this is because in the trailer, the character Dutch van der Linde looks much younger than the first, and it seems that the guy and the protagonist will be good friends rather than a Old van der Linde, one of the bad guys trying to hold John Marston as part 1 again. Anyway, with the prequel story, the outlawed cowboys still need to lean on each other to live.

One more thing about the story is equally important, it is now we have not seen John Marston appear in this trailer.
